Last updated: 1 April 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DabarQ ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you visit dabarq.com, subscribe to our Service, or interact with us. We're committed to handling your data with care, transparency, and respect.

The short version: We collect the minimum data needed to run DabarQ and deliver the Service to you. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with anyone except the third-party tools that help us run the platform. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time.

01Who This Policy Applies To

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • Visitors — anyone who browses dabarq.com or interacts with our marketing materials.
  • Customers — businesses that subscribe to DabarQ and use the Service.
  • End users — leads and customers of our Customers, whose data flows through quote forms and automation built on DabarQ.

Different sections of this policy apply to different groups. Where relevant, we'll specify who each rule applies to.

02Information We Collect

Information you give us directly

When you sign up, contact us, or use the Service, we may collect:

  • Account information — your name, business name, email address, phone number, country, and login credentials.
  • Billing information — payment details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Business information — pricing details, service offerings, brand assets, and configurations you upload to set up your account.
  • Communications — emails, support requests, onboarding call notes, and any other messages you send us.

Information we collect automatically

  • Usage data — how you interact with the platform, features used, errors encountered, and session activity.
  • Device & browser data — IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, and referring URLs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 07 for details.

Information collected through the Service (end-user data)

When your business uses DabarQ to send instant quotes, the platform processes information submitted by your leads — typically including names, contact details, property information, and service requirements. This data belongs to you, the Customer. DabarQ acts as a data processor on your behalf and handles this data only to deliver the Service.

03How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the DabarQ platform.
  • Process subscription payments and manage billing.
  • Set up your account and deliver onboarding assistance.
  • Send service-related communications (account updates, billing notices, security alerts, support responses).
  • Improve the Service through analytics, bug fixes, and feature development.
  • Send occasional product updates, tips, or marketing emails — only to active Customers, and only with the option to unsubscribe at any time.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security incidents, and abuse of the Service.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.

04Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you're located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, we process your personal data under one of the following legal bases:

  • Contract — to deliver the Service you've subscribed to.
  • Legitimate interest — to improve the platform, communicate with Customers, and protect against fraud.
  • Consent — for optional marketing emails and non-essential cookies (you can withdraw consent at any time).
  • Legal obligation — where required by law to retain or disclose information.

05Third-Party Services We Use

To run DabarQ, we rely on a small number of trusted third-party providers. Each one processes only the data needed to perform its function, and each has its own privacy policy:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy
  • Google Workspace — email, document storage, and internal operations. Google Privacy Policy
  • n8n — automation infrastructure powering the platform.
  • Hosting & analytics providers — to keep dabarq.com fast, reliable, and secure.
  • Email delivery providers — to send transactional emails (account notifications, password resets, billing receipts).

We may also integrate with additional third-party services (such as your CRM or email provider) at your request when setting up your account. Those integrations are governed by your agreement with those providers.

06Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share data in these limited situations:

  • With service providers who help us operate the platform (listed in Section 05).
  • With integrations you authorise — such as your CRM, email provider, or other tools you connect to your DabarQ account.
  • To comply with legal obligations — if required by law, court order, or government request.
  • To protect rights and safety — if needed to prevent fraud, abuse, or harm to DabarQ, our Customers, or others.
  • In a business transfer — if DabarQ is acquired, merged, or sells assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. You'll be notified before any change in control.

07Cookies & Tracking

dabarq.com uses cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you logged in to your account.
  • Remember your preferences.
  • Understand how visitors use the website (so we can improve it).
  • Measure the performance of marketing campaigns.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect your ability to use parts of the Service.

08Data Storage & Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
  • Secure password storage using industry-standard hashing.
  • Restricted access to Customer data — only authorised team members can access it, and only when necessary to deliver the Service.
  • Regular security reviews of our infrastructure and third-party providers.
  • Payment data handled exclusively by PCI-compliant processors (Stripe).

While we do everything reasonable to protect your data, no system is 100% secure. If a data breach occurs that affects your personal information, we'll notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

09Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary:

  • Active subscribers — we keep your account data for as long as your subscription is active.
  • After cancellation — account data may be archived for up to 30 days, after which it may be permanently deleted. If you reactivate within that window, your settings can usually be restored.
  • Billing records — retained as required by tax and financial regulations (typically 5–7 years).
  • Communications — support emails and inquiry records may be retained for up to 2 years for quality and reference purposes.

You can request earlier deletion of your data at any time (see Section 10).

10Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion — request that we delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations).
  • Portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection — object to certain types of processing, such as marketing.
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data.
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint — with your local data protection authority if you believe we've mishandled your data.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days.

11End-User Data (Your Customers' Leads)

When your business uses DabarQ to capture leads and send quotes, the personal information of your end users (your leads and customers) belongs to you, the Customer. DabarQ acts as a data processor on your behalf.

As the Customer, you are responsible for:

  • Having a lawful basis to collect and process your leads' data.
  • Providing your leads with a clear privacy notice.
  • Honouring data subject requests from your leads (access, deletion, etc.).
  • Complying with applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction.

DabarQ will assist you in fulfilling these obligations where reasonably possible.

12International Data Transfers

DabarQ operates globally and uses third-party providers based in different countries. Your data may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries outside your own — including the United States, the European Union, the Philippines, and others where our service providers operate.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection during international transfers.

13Children's Privacy

DabarQ is not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we become aware that we've collected data from a child, we'll delete it promptly.

14Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be available at dabarq.com/privacy. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
