Why this exists
The name
Dabar (דָּבָר) is the Hebrew word for word. It is the word the Old Testament uses when God speaks: “the word of the LORD came.” The Q is your Quest: the journey of walking through every season of life with His Word as the map. DabarQ Christian Life is the Word for the quest of life.
Nothing here is invented. Every lesson begins with Scripture quoted in full, and every thought stays inside what the verse actually says.
The translation
Verses are quoted from the World English Bible (WEB): a complete, modern English translation in the public domain, kept close to the original Hebrew and Greek while staying readable for young readers.
One helpful note: where many Bibles print “the LORD”, the WEB uses Yahweh, God’s personal name in Hebrew. Same God, same verse, His own name.
Why it is free
God’s Word was given freely, so this stays free. Share it with your family, your friends, and anyone walking through a hard season. “Freely you received, so freely give.” (Matthew 10:8, WEB)
